St. Peter's Singles Support Group
Who Are We?
For 28 years, the St. Peter's Support Group has been devoted to helping people on a peer to peer basis who are coping with a divorce or the loss of a spouse or who have never been married. Through it's leaders and dedicated volunteers, the group provides support through its' weekly meetings that include discussions and sharing which helps individuals take their minds off any current problems and also by the contributions of others who have been through similar situations (who survived and prospered). The group has a good balance of both men and women with members of all different ages.
This is a warm and caring group of sincere people who have created a community that supplies generous support and friendship not only to its' members, but also gives support to local, needy causes that come to its' attention.
First time visitors are offered an orientation and sharing meeting guided by one of the leaders.

Social Activities For One And All
St. Peter's Support Group is always finding ways and activities for it's members to have fun and enjoy themselves. Here is the current list of planned events and activities. Members are encouraged to make suggestions for new and acceptable activities like trips to New York City, Giant's Stadium, etc.

June 2, Sunday. We are going to see The Cher Show at the Neil Simon Theater, 250 West 52nd Street, NY. We are going to the 3 p.m. matinee.
The price is $140.00 per person, which includes ORCHESTRA seats and motor coach transportation from St. Peter's to and from the theater. We are leaving St. Peter's at 1 p.m. and returning back at approximately 6:30 p.m. A $50.00 per person deposit is due by the meeting of January 17 and the balance is due by the February 21 meeting.

June 8, Saturday. Anthony Duke Claus will be having his second SOCK HOP on Saturday
From 5:30 to 11 p.m at The Brownstone, Paterson, NJ, in the Grand Ballroom upstairs.
In June 2018, 45 of us went and we had a great time.
The price is $50.00 per person and includes a huge buffet dinner.
In addition to dinner, there will be dancing and songs by this talented 23-year-old.
There will be a CASH bar, contests and prizes.
Dress is optional.
June 9, 2019 Sunday. A Day at the Races! Monmouth Park Raceway.
Cost $120 per person - Includes taxes, tips & Bus
The price includes a round trip Bus from St. Peter's parking lot to Monmouth Raceway,
Admission & a Family Style Lunch (Bets extra):
Raceway admission, a race program & a pen - Clubhouse indoor track side seating in the air conditioned Dining Terrace Restaurant.
Family Style meal - Lunch will include 3 Appetizers, a House Salad, 3 Sandwich Selections with French Fries and a Dessert. Soda,
Coffee and Tea are included. Juices and Alcoholic Beverages are extra.

June 13, Thursday. We are meeting for a Welcome Summer HAPPY HOUR at Vitale's, 293 Queen Anne Road, Teaneck. We are meeting at 6 p.m. Their Happy Hour is from 4 to 7 p.m.
There is a FREE hot and cold buffet with the purchase of any type of drink. It does NOT have to be an alcoholic beverage.
June 15, Saturday. We are celebrating May/June birthdays at Lieto's, 203 Main Street, New Milford at 6:30 p.m
The price is $33 or $32 if we are celebrating your birthday. The price includes an assortment of appetizers, salad, pasta, choice of 6 entrees, canned soda, coffee, tea and birthday cake.
This is a BYOB.
Payment is due at the restaurant.
June 30, Sunday. Walkway over the Hudson and Robibero Family Vineyards.
$115 per person (25 members needed) Includes taxes and tips. The price includes a round trip bus from St. Peter's lot, a guided tour of the Walkway, a 5-wine tasting (other wine purchases extra) and lunch.
Included is a guided tour of this historic railroad bridge featuring stories and detailed history about the bridge and the surrounding area.
Enjoy breathtaking river views and scenic Hudson Valley mountain vistas. A private group 5-Wine tasting. Discover your favorite wines and buy a glass(es) or bottle(s). There will be live entertainment throughout our visit PLUS a 10% discount on all bottle purchases.

July 21, Sunday. We are celebrating Kathy Marshall's retirement at the Riverside Manor, 27 East 33rd Street, Paterson (GPS 1 Morlot Avenue, FairLawn). The brunch is from 1 to 3 p.m. The price of $25 (brunch only) includes a brunch with breakfast, dinner items and desserts with unlimited juice, soda, coffee and tea. Alcoholic beverages are extra. Payment of cash is due at the restaurant
There is VALET PARKING.

September 5, Meeting. We will have a speaker and the topic is Investment Fraud
September 14, Saturday. Instead of a picnic this year, we are having a PIZZA PARTY at Vitale's, 293 Queen Anne Road, Teaneck. It is from 1 to 5 p.m. Pizza and pitchers of soda will be served at NO CHARGE. There will be a CASH bar. THIS WAS ORIGINALLY SCHEDULED FOR SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 21.
September 22, Sunday. We are going to Magnanini Winery, Wallkill, NY. The price of $70.00 includes wine tasting with cheeses and salami from 12 to 1 p.m. From 1 to 5 p.m. there is a 6-course dinner. There is live accordion music with Frank Carozza and dancing throughout each seating. Tax and tip are included. Wine, beer, soda and a liquor bar are extra. We will carpool from St. Peter's.
Payment in full is due by August 1 meeting.
October 3 Meeting. We will be playing BINGO. Cards are $5.00 each. There will be cash prizes for all games.
October 5, Saturday. We will be going to The Sight and Sound Millennium Theater, Lancaster, Pennsylvania to see the play JESUS. The cost of $170.00 includes bus transportation, admission to the show and a buffet at Shady Maple Restaurant. A $50.00 deposit is required to reserve a spot. The balance is due by July 5th. October 26, Saturday. We will be joining the Knights of Columbus for their annual Halloween Party.
Location is St. Andrew the Apostle Church Hall, 400 Mt. Prospect Avenue, Clifton, NJ.
$40 includes music by the Cameos, a hot and cold buffet and dessert with tea and coffee. BYOB (wine only)
Costumes are encouraged. All proceeds go to "Coats for Kids".

November 7, Meeting. We will have a speaker who will discuss MEDICARE.
November 20, Wednesday We are going to see The Best of Broadway Show at The Stony Hill Inn, 231 Polify Road, Hackensack, NJ. Doors open at 11 a.m.
This production by Ace in The Hole Company stars Anthony Duke singing numerous tunes from Broadway. Comedian Dale Grand will also perform. The cost of $55.70 includes two alcoholic drinks, salad, rigatoni, maple baked ham, chicken marsala, potatoes and vegetable du chef. Coffee, tea and dessert also included.

December 8, Sunday. CHRISTMAS/HOLIDAY Party. at Seasons, 644 Pascack Road, Washington Township from noon to 4 p.m. Deluxe assortment of hot and cold appetizers, choice of 3 entrees, pasta, salad, soda, dessert, coffee and tea. There will be a DJ and CASH bar.

Thursday 02/06 Meet at Newark Airport at approximately 4:30 PM for a direct flight to Orlando at 6:30 to 7 PM. Take the Disney Magic Express to our on-site hotel (Port Orleans?). Check in around midnight.
Friday 02/07 - Disney Animal Kingdom Park - Meet at the Disney hotel bus stop at 8 AM for 9 AM rope drop. Fast passes for Kilimanjaro Safari, the Lion King show and the Avatar Flight of Passage. Buffet "Character" lunch at Tusker House. 7 PM Rivers of Light Show. Open dinner plans.
Saturday 02/08 - Open Choice Day - Visit Hollywood Studios or Magic Kingdom. Shop & eat at Disney Springs, rent a bike, play golf (extra $), relax or explore other Disney hotels. Meet for a group dinner at Sanaa in The Animal Kingdom Lodge. This restaurant overlooks the Savannah!
Sunday 02/09 - Epcot International Festival of the Arts - Meet at the Disney hotel bus stop at 8 AM for 9 AM rope drop. Rope drop Soarin'. Fast passes for Test Track, Living with the Land and Spaceship Earth. Meet for a group dinner in the park (restaurant chosen by group vote).
Monday 02/10 - Take the Disney Magic Express Bus to Orlando Airport for the flight home. Flight time around 2 PM to arrive around 6 PM.
