Who Are We?
For 19 years, the St. Peter's Support Group has been devoted to helping people on a peer to peer basis who are coping with a divorce or the loss of a spouse or who have never been married. Through it's leaders and dedicated volunteers, the group provides support through its' weekly meetings that include discussions and sharing which helps individuals take their minds off any current problems and also by the contributions of others who have been through similar situations (who survived and prospered). The group has a good balance of both men and women with members of all different ages.

This is a warm and caring group of sincere people who have created a community that supplies generous support and friendship not only to its' members, but also gives support to local, needy causes that come to its' attention.

First time visitors are offered an orientation and sharing meeting guided by one of the leaders.

Social Activities For One And All
St. Peter's Support Group is always finding ways and activities for it's members to have fun and enjoy themselves. Here is the current list of planned events and activities. Members are encouraged to make suggestions for new and acceptable activities like trips to New York City, Giant's Stadium, etc.

Sept 5. Sunday, 2pm. We have 10 tickets available for the play Billy Elliot on Broadway. Orchestra seats. We will take the local bus into NY have lunch then see the play. Tickets $102. First come, first served.

Sept 11-12. Saturday-Sunday.9-4. Mary will be having a garage sale at her house 942 Laurel Ave River Edge. Do you have stuff you'd like to get rid or or would you like to stop buy? Come on over.

Sept 30. Thursday.730pm. We will have a speaker at the meeting. Ann K who works for Primerica will speak about debt management.

Oct 3. Sunday. 11-4pm. Annual Record Food Drive. We will man 4 supermarkets collecting donated groceries for local food pantries. The 4 stores are A & P Saddle Brook, Shop Rite Lodi, Stop & Shop Paramus, and A & P Old Tappan. If you'd like to help out let me know what store you will be going to and what time you'll be there.

Oct 16. Saturday. St Peter's is having Night at the Races. Details will follow but it will be a fun evening.

Oct 23. Saturday. 7-11pm. We will be hosting a dance at St Peter's. We have booked DJ Nick. Details to follow as we get closer to the date.

Nov 19-21. Friday- Sunday. We will be returning to Villa Roma Resort in NY State for Irish Weekend!

Non stop Irish entertainment including Ronan Tynan, Tony Kenny, Joe Cuddy, Dublin City Dancers, Noel Kingston, Ed Ryan, and more.

We will have our own private hospitality room.
Rates $340 per person, double occupancy. Rates include taxes, gratuities, and service charges. We have 25 rooms reserved so act quickly before we book this up.
We will be collecting a $75 deposit per person.

Nov 28. Sunday 1:30pm. We will be going to the Paper Mill Playhouse to see Les Miserables. Orchestra seats.Tickets $52. I have only 15 tickets available. First come, first served.

Dec 4. Saturday. Holiday Entertainment Extravaganza. Package includes Miracle of Christmas at the Millennium Theatre. Shopping at Kitchen Kettle Village, Dinner at Millers Smorgasbord. Motorcoach transportation from St Peters'. All taxes and gratuities included. $111 per person. $25 deposit. Selling out quickly

April 10, 2011- Sunday. We will be celebrating our 20 year anniversary! We will begin our celebration will mass at 12:30pm then a party in the gym. Please let me know if you have any email address or friends on Facebook who have been members of this group over the last 20 years. All are invited
