St. Peter's Singles Support Group
Who Are We?
For 27 years, the St. Peter's Support Group has been devoted to helping people on a peer to peer basis who are coping with a divorce or the loss of a spouse or who have never been married. Through it's leaders and dedicated volunteers, the group provides support through its' weekly meetings that include discussions and sharing which helps individuals take their minds off any current problems and also by the contributions of others who have been through similar situations (who survived and prospered). The group has a good balance of both men and women with members of all different ages.
This is a warm and caring group of sincere people who have created a community that supplies generous support and friendship not only to its' members, but also gives support to local, needy causes that come to its' attention.
First time visitors are offered an orientation and sharing meeting guided by one of the leaders.

Social Activities For One And All
St. Peter's Support Group is always finding ways and activities for it's members to have fun and enjoy themselves. Here is the current list of planned events and activities. Members are encouraged to make suggestions for new and acceptable activities like trips to New York City, Giant's Stadium, etc.

November 22, Thursday, THANKSGIVING - We are meeting at the Coach House in Hackensack at 1:00 p.m. If you have no plans, please feel free to join us.
Reservations are a MUST. Please respond no later than October 30, to Camille Rush at firstname.lastname@example.org or Jackie Taylor at JMT12402@aol.com. Sorry, we are not able to guarantee a seat if you do not let us know in advance you are attending.
You can order whatever you want off the menu, i.e. a complete dinner, an appetizer or just dessert.
December 2, Sunday - CHRISTMAS PARTY. At Seasons, 644 Pascack Road, Washington Township, from noon to 4. Deluxe assortment of hot and cold appetizers, pasta, salad, choice of 3 entrees, soda, coffee, tea and dessert. There will be a CASH bar and a DJ.
Payment is due by the November 1 meeting.
December 6 Meeting. We will have a speaker and the topic is MEDICARE. This was originally scheduled for our November 15 meeting. The St. Peter's Seniors will be joining us. This is the DEADLINE for donated toys and clothes.
December 9, Sunday - A CHRISTMAS CAROL at The Westchester Broadway Dinner Theater
Cost: $110 per person (includes Dinner & Tip, Show, Toll & Parking) The price includes a 3 course Matinee Dinner PLUS: A musical adaptation of the Charles Dickens' classic. This new musical adaptation features an original score as well as many traditional carols.

December 20, Meeting. - We are meeting in the PARISH CENTER for a Christmas and holiday celebration. Please bring either a snack and or dessert Also, bring what you would like to drink. Bottled water and paper products will be supplied.
December 25, Tuesday, CHRISTMAS DAY We are meeting at Golden Dynasty, 295 Kinderkamack Road, Hillsdale, NJ at 2 p.m. If you would like to attend, please email Jackie Taylor at email@example.com no later than Tuesday, December 11.
January 17 Meeting - We will have a speaker from Valley Health and the topic will be "Lowering and Managing your Blood Pressure."
January 20, Sunday. - We are celebrating JANUARY/FEBRUARY birthdays at Riverside Manor, 27 East 33rd Street, Paterson (GPS 1 Morlot Avenue, FairLawn) from 1 to 3 p.m.
The price is $24 or $23 if it is your birthday. We will be having brunch which includes breakfast, dinner items and desserts with unlimited juice, soda, coffee and tea. Alcoholic beverages are extra. The money is due at the restaurant.
February 10 We are having a retirement brunch for Colleen Haerle and Kathy LaMere at Riverside Manor, 27 East 33rd Street, Paterson (GPS 1 Morlot Avenue, FairLawn).
It will be from 1 to 3 p.m. The price is $25.00 cash payable at the restaurant. The brunch includes breakfast and dinner items, desserts with unlimited juice, soda, coffee and tea. Alcoholic beverages are extra.
February 21 Meeting - We will have a speaker from Bergen Medical Associates and the topic will be "Living With Diabetes."
March 21, Meeting We will have a speaker and the topic is "The Medicine of Laughter."
June 8, 2019 Anthony Duke Claus will be having his second SOCK HOP on Saturday From 5:30 to 11 p.m at The Brownstone, Paterson, NJ, in the Grand Ballroom upstairs.
In June 2018, 45 of us went and we had a great time.
The price is $50.00 per person and includes a huge buffet dinner. In addition to dinner, there will be dancing and songs by this talented 23-year-old. There will be a CASH bar, contests and prizes.
Dress is optional.
Since seating will be LIMITED, tickets will sell quickly. Payment is due when you sign up.
Checks are payable to St Peter's Support Group. Cash is also accepted. If you are not able to attend the meetings, please send your check to Kathy Marshall, 48 Hackberry Place, Clifton, NJ 07013. Payment is due by our December 20 meeting.
September 21, Saturday Instead of a picnic this year, we are having a PIZZA PARTY at Vitale's, 293 Queen Anne Road, Teaneck. It is from 1 to 5 p.m. Pizza and pitchers of soda will be served at NO CHARGE. There will be a CASH bar.
